Standing at 10 cm with a 3 cm base, this beautifully polished brass finial will shine wherever it stands.

The figure of a pinecone has a particular significance in Rome and Vatican City - as a symbol of continuous renewal. There is even a pinecone courtyard at the Vatican -300 sq meters of green space adjacent to the halls of the museum holds a huge bronze cone in the courtyard - 4 meters high and two and a half wide- and it stands at the top of a double ramp staircase designed by Michelangelo (see last pic).

Condition: Vintage in good condition with normal, minimal wear
